• 2551 miles of sidewalks
• 300 miles of engineered drainage channels
• 883 traffic signals
• 66,000 street lights
• 206 rail crossingsM
• 30,000 storm drains/inlets

As important are future roadways and current performance conditions of the roadway system. Staff routinely analyzes and recommends transit and roadway projects that will reduce congestion, improve air-quality and move traffic.
